Birth Month - Class Leaders – keep in contact
with the members of the church. Class Leaders visit or contact
members once a week to see how their souls are prospering;
to comfort, advise or reprove them, and to receive what
they are willing to give towards the support of the church
and the poor.
Board
of Christian Education – develops educational
programs about the C.M.E.
church and its doctrine as set forth in the Discipline,
and in conjunction with the
programs and policies of the General Department of Christian
Education.
Christian Methodist Men Fellowship
Feeding Ministry – provides grocery items
to the community on Wednesday
afternoons immediately following 12 Noon Bible Study.
Flower Guild – beautifies the sanctuary
with flowers, and decorates for Easter,
Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas.
Hostess
Board – greets and registers visitors; serves
as Host/Hostesses for various
Church functions.
Joint
Stewards Board – (in a general way) are responsible
for the finances of the church.
Jolly 100’s – is a social setting
for seniors to have social activities and fund raisers for
the church.
Every three months, they go out to lunch!
Media Ministry – provides services
related to the audio, visual, print, photography and telecommunications.
Subcommittees included in this ministry are: Audio Recording

• CD and Tape Sales & Distribution • Video
Recording & Lights • Website Design & Maintenance
Nurses Unit – assists sick until
family members arrive.
Phillips Temple Community Development Corporation
Praise Dance Teams – includes children,
youth, men and women who are taught the principles of modern
dance, ballet, and interpretive dance. They are also taught
the biblical basis for praising God with dance!
PRAISE
PUPPETS – teaches children or teens how to
use a puppet to deliver a message to others. They teach
the Bible using scripture, skits, and songs through Puppetry.
PRAYER
MINISTRY – works in unity with the Pastor
to advance prayer as the foundation for all church endeavors.
As intercessors, they offer petitions to God on behalf of
our church, its members, and the community.
RECORDING
STEWARD – develops and maintains a record
keeping system to record all money received and spent by
the church.
SENIOR
USHER BOARD – maintains order and assists
clergy and worshippers during Sunday morning worship and
other services.
